We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our accounts team – someone who can keep track of the big picture, take on responsibility and actively help shape our financial processes with their expertise. We offer 30 vacation days, a flexitime system and special leave for important events such as marriage and birth. You can also organise your days to work in the office as well as remotely (one day/week). In addition, you do not work on 24 December and 31 December.

• Assistance with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Swiss GAAP FER
• Preparation of relevant documentation for tax returns and audits
• Compilation and preparation of statutory statistics
• Providing support with subsidiary ledgers, particularly in accounts payable where required
• Actively helping to shape and continuously optimise processes and procedures within the accounting department

What you bring with you

• Several years’ professional experience in financial accounting
• Good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB); knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage
• Several years’ experience and a good knowledge of SAP
• Good or confident knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• A structured, meticulous and process-oriented approach to work
• Strong analytical skills and a keen aptitude for numbers
• Enjoys working as part of a team and works reliably and independently
