Reinsurance Accountant (Hybrid; m/f/x/d)

In this role you will apply your (re)insurance accounting expertise to manage complex reinsurance contracts and ensure accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with a global network of colleagues, brokers, and reinsurers to optimize processes and closing activities. You drive improvements and automation to simplify workflows while supporting cross-functional partners. This position sits within Swiss Re CorSo's External Reinsurance Team and offers a pathway to influence financial operations on a worldwide scale. Verantwortungsbereiche

• Manage statements of accounts and claim recoveries for reinsurers and brokers
• Account for payables and receivables of reinsurance contracts with precision
• Set up new reinsurance contracts and maintain renewal workflows
• Collaborate with internal functions and manage interactions with brokers and reinsurers
• Execute and refine monthly and quarterly closings and improve SOPs
• Support process improvement initiatives and drive automation and simplification

Zentrale Anforderungen

• 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounting with substantial (re)insurance exposure
• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration; professional certifications valued
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with ability to handle complex financial data
• Fluent in English and German (or willingness to develop German)
