Senior Controller (w/m/d)

We are supporting a leading German asset manager in the search for a Senior Controller (w/m/d). The company is in a growth and build‑up phase, establishing a modern, forward‑looking finance organisation in Düsseldorf, Germany.

You will develop the reporting, planning, and performance frameworks that management and shareholders rely on for strategic decisions, giving you strong visibility and real impact on the company's future direction.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and expand a comprehensive corporate steering and reporting framework
• Introduce project, sales, and product controlling, and build a transparent internal performance accounting system
• Prepare investment cases, decision papers, and materials for management and supervisory board meetings
• Build a stringent reporting landscape with direct reporting to management and shareholders
• Support value creation through analyses, business cases, and actionable recommendations

Requirements

• University degree in economics, finance, or business administration
• Strong experience in controlling or finance, ideally in financial services or corporate environments
• Project experience; M&A or PMI exposure is an advantage
• Background in audit/Big Four (TS, Valuation, CF, M&A) is a plus
