Responsibilities
• You will take full responsibility for our finance and accounting function and ensure that our financials are always accurate, up-to-date and reliable.
• As the central contact for all financial matters, you will provide the foundation for well-informed decisions in a growing SaaS company.
• Accounting: Independently manage day-to-day accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations).
• Financial statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
• Tax & compliance: Prepare VAT returns and work closely with our tax advisor and auditors.
• Reporting: Support monthly financial reporting and the preparation of key metrics for management and investors.
• Processes: Help shape and optimize our financial processes and tools as the company grows.
Requirements
• Completed advanced training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a dynamic corporate or SaaS environment.
• Confident in independently preparing financial statements in accordance with HGB.
• Experience with Zoho Books and DATEV (or comparable cloud-based accounting software) and proficient with MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Structured, meticulous and proactive working style, with discretion in handling confidential information.
• Business-fluent German and good command of English, both written and spoken.
