Financial statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.

Responsibilities You will take full responsibility for our finance and accounting function and ensure that our financials are always accurate, up-to-date and reliable. As the central contact for all financial matters, you will provide the foundation for well-informed decisions in a growing SaaS company.
Accounting: Independently manage day-to-day accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations). Tax & compliance: Prepare VAT returns and work closely with our tax advisor and auditors. Reporting: Support monthly financial reporting and the preparation of key metrics for management and investors.
Processes: Help shape and optimize our financial processes and tools as the company grows. Requirements Completed advanced training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or equivalent qualification. Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a dynamic corporate or SaaS environment.
Confident in independently preparing financial statements in accordance with HGB. Experience with Zoho Books and DATEV (or comparable cloud-based accounting software) and proficient with MS Office / Google Workspace.
