Production Controller - Product Costing & Calculation

Our client is a global development and production partner for medical technology companies, with sites in Europe, China and the USA. They manufacture implants, instruments and components, and they are growing in a future-proof industry.

Your role

Calculation is the core of this job. You are the person production and management rely on for reliable numbers.

• Product costing and target/actual analyses to support machine utilization and resource planning (CRP, MRP, OEE)
• Determine and maintain standard costs, machine hour rates and overhead surcharges
• Calculations for make-or-buy decisions and ROI analyses
• Analyze production output, profitability and cost structures, and identify optimization potential
• Evaluate inventory, WIP and material efficiency
• Process analyses to identify idle time and improve energy efficiency
• Support investment controlling, efficiency projects and profitability analyses

Your profile

• Degree in business administration, finance, controlling or industrial engineering
• Several years of experience as a production controller or in costing within an industrial company
• Strong numerical and analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach
• Confident in MS Office, especially Excel, plus ERP and BI systems
• Team player with initiative and strategic thinking
