Operating Costs Accountant (m/f/d)

• Independently preparing and carefully checking utility and heating cost statements
• Analysing and carrying out plausibility checks on apportionable costs to ensure transparent and legally compliant statements
• Professional and service-oriented communication with tenants, owners, property management companies and external service providers
• Resolving queries and disputes regarding statements in a solution-oriented and friendly manner
• Responsibility for maintaining, updating and checking all master data relevant to billing
• Active involvement in the preparation of annual accounts and the production of internal reports to support business decisions

Your profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as a property management assistant, office administrator or equivalent
• Several years’ professional experience in service charge accounting
• Good knowledge of tenancy and service charge law (BetrKV) would be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with the iX-Haus accounting software would be an advantage
• A meticulous, structured and independent approach to work
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
