Our client is a well-established Japanese multinational corporation with a strong global business network. To support their continued growth and operational excellence, we are looking for a hands‑on, detail-oriented Manager (m/f/d) Finance, Controlling & Business Planning to strengthen the finance department at their European headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.

• Financial Planning & Budgeting: Lead annual budgeting processes, quarterly revisions, and mid‑term financial planning in close alignment with senior leadership
• Controlling & Reporting: Monitor financial performance, analyze budget vs. actual variances, and prepare comprehensive monthly flash reports and rolling forecasts
• Financial Accounting Oversight: Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely accruals, journal entries, and financial integrity
• Compliance & Auditing: Manage statutory financial reporting and tax compliance, serving as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors
• Process & Team Support: Supervise administrative finance functions and provide cross‑functional financial insight to supporting divisions
• Proven multi-year background in financial management, controlling, business planning, and accounting within an international corporate environment
• Solid proficiency in HGB (German Commercial Code); knowledge of IFRS or Japanese GAAP (J‑GAAP) is highly desirable
• Practical experience coordinating statutory audits, handling tax compliance matters, and driving financial reporting
• Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken) are mandatory; German or Japanese skills are a valuable asset
