Work closely with experienced colleagues from our accounting and product teams, and gradually take ownership of your own client topics.
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, initiative, and team spirit. English at B2/C1 level (team language) and German at minimum B2 solid German is needed for the tax and accounting terminology (HGB, UStVA, DATEV). Get hands-on with the books: accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, and cash will quickly become part of your day-to-day. Support monthly closings, VAT pre-filings (UStVA), and reports. Requirements Some first experience in accounting (roughly 1 year) whether from vocational training, a student job, an internship, or a career switch.
A basic understanding of booking logic; first exposure to VAT pre-filings (UStVA) is a plus. An appetite for digital tools and processes that aren't always fully built yet – and the ability to teach yourself new things. Onboarding & mentoring from experienced colleagues.
