Accountant – German-speaking (HGB / IFRS)A growing international technology company in Mannheim is looking for an Accountant to support their Finance team and deliver Accounting for international entities. The company is growing quickly and is setting up scaleable accounting and finance processes, and transforming their Accounting Systems. Sitting in the established Accounting team, the Accountant will deliver daily, monthly, yearly accounting and bookkeeping and will ensure that processes such as month and year end close are delivered in a timely and compliant manner.A great opportunity for an Accountant to take the next step in a dynamic international and growing company!

Your role:Financial Accounting at Local level for a range of entities and subsidiariesPreparing Financial Accounts according to HGB/German GAAP or IFRS, depending on entity locationDelivering month end / Year end close activitiesSupporting financial audit and working with Auditors in German and EnglishLiaising with German Steuerberater (Tax Accountants) and Audit teams in local languageAccounts Receiveable, Bank Recs and Accounts Payable records reconciliationRecording transactions, posting journals, reconciling accounts acrossGeneral Ledger Accounting, reconciliation and data cleansingYour experience:Accountant with 3+ years' experienceFluent German and EnglishStrong knowledge of accounting standards, ideally German GAAP HGB and IFRSPrior experience as Bilanzbuchhalter / Steuerfachangestellte or in Financial Accounting or AuditLocation: Germany, Mannheim area, hybrid workingType:
