Accountant

Metz Electronics Srl, the Italian subsidiary of Skyworth Group, is looking for an:

Account

Based in Wiesbaden.

You will be part of an ambitious, fast-growing, and international environment, supporting our development in DACH.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Accounting

• Process daily accounting transactions in SAP.
• Review, verify and post employee expense claims and other operating expenses.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.

Payments

• Prepare routine payment proposals in SAP.
• Process daily supplier and expense payments in accordance with internal approval procedures.
• Ensure payment documentation is complete and properly maintained.
• Assist in resolving payment-related issues with internal stakeholders and external parties.

Customer Finance Coordination

• Act as the finance contact for customers regarding invoices, financial documentation and general finance-related enquiries.
• Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams to support smooth business operations.

Financial Compliance & Support

• Support VAT documentation, statutory reporting and audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local accounting requirements.
• Assist the Finance Manager with various accounting and finance tasks.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international company.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles.
• Experience with SAP ERP is highly preferred.
• Good Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Familiarity with German accounting practices.
• Experience in AR, AP and General Ledger accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Language Requirements

• Fluent German (written and spoken).
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken) for daily business communication
