About the Role

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Accountants / Accounting Specialists to support financial and accounting operations for our clients across Germany.

We welcome candidates with experience in bookkeeping, financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting. Candidates with German language proficiency at B1 or B2 level are encouraged to apply, depending on the position's requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and review account balances.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting procedures and German regulations.
• Maintain organised financial records and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance teams and other departments.

Your Profile

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Accountant, Buchhalter, Accounts Assistant, or Finance Specialist is preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Familiarity with German accounting standards (HGB) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DATEV, SAP, Microsoft Excel, or similar accounting systems is beneficial.
• German language proficiency at B1 or B2 level.
• Good analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Currently residing in Germany or legally authorised to work in Germany.
